Terms of Service

DOCUMENT Terms of Service
EFFECTIVE DATE January 2019
LAST UPDATED September 2026
01 THE AGREEMENT

Clear terms for a professional research support relationship.

These Terms of Service explain the conditions under which Dissertation Data Analysis provides professional dissertation data analysis, statistical support, research assistance, and related academic services.

By requesting a quotation, placing an order, making a payment, or otherwise engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

01
SERVICES & SCOPE

Professional Support Defined by Your Research Requirements

Dissertation Data Analysis provides professional support for research projects that may include dissertation data analysis, statistical analysis, quantitative and qualitative research support, results interpretation, methodology-related assistance, data preparation, and other agreed research services.

The specific scope of each project is determined by the information provided by the client and the quotation or service agreement issued for that project. Our services are tailored to the agreed research requirements and do not automatically include work, analyses, revisions, or deliverables that fall outside the confirmed scope.

PROJECT SCOPE

New research questions, revised datasets, additional analyses, substantial methodology changes, or other requirements introduced after work has begun may require a revised quotation and additional time.

02
QUOTES, ORDERS & PAYMENTS

Establishing a Clear Scope Before Work Begins

Project quotations are prepared using the information available at the time of assessment. Clients are responsible for providing accurate and sufficiently complete information about their research project, including relevant requirements, deadlines, research questions, methodology, datasets, and institutional or supervisor guidance where applicable.

A quotation is based on the scope presented to us. If material information is missing, inaccurate, or changes after the quotation has been accepted, the project requirements, price, delivery schedule, or both may need to be reviewed.

Payment arrangements, including deposits, balances, and applicable payment schedules, will be communicated before or during the order process. Work may begin only after the agreed payment requirements have been met.

03
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The Information Required for Effective Research Support

The quality and relevance of research support depend on the information and materials available. Clients are responsible for providing the documents, datasets, instructions, and other materials necessary for the requested work.

Depending on the project, this may include research questions, hypotheses, methodology chapters, codebooks, datasets, survey instruments, existing results, formatting requirements, or feedback from an academic supervisor.

Clients should review quotations, project updates, draft deliverables, and completed work within a reasonable period. Delays in providing information, clarification, feedback, or required materials may affect the agreed delivery timeline.

04
REVISIONS & PROJECT CHANGES

Keeping Revisions Aligned With the Agreed Scope

Reasonable revisions may be provided where they relate directly to the original scope of work and agreed project requirements. Revision requests should clearly identify the issue or requirement requiring attention.

Revisions do not include entirely new analyses, new datasets, substantial changes to research questions or hypotheses, replacement of previously approved project materials, or other work that materially expands the original project.

Where a requested change falls outside the original scope, we may provide a separate quotation before undertaking the additional work.

05
ACADEMIC INTEGRITY

Responsible Use of Professional Research Support

Dissertation Data Analysis provides professional research, analytical, statistical, and academic support. Our services are intended to assist clients in understanding research processes, analysing data, interpreting findings, improving research materials, and addressing agreed project requirements.

Clients remain responsible for their own academic decisions, submissions, representations, and compliance with the rules, policies, and academic integrity requirements of their university, college, supervisor, publisher, or other relevant institution.

OUR ROLE
Professional support does not transfer academic responsibility.

Clients are responsible for determining how any assistance, analysis, guidance, or deliverables may be used within their individual academic or professional circumstances.

06
CONFIDENTIALITY

Protecting Research Materials and Project Information

We treat client information, research materials, datasets, and project communications as confidential and use them for the purpose of evaluating, managing, and providing the requested services.

Clients should ensure that they have the necessary authority and permissions to share any datasets, participant information, institutional documents, or other materials submitted to us.

Where possible, clients are encouraged to remove unnecessary personally identifiable or sensitive information from research datasets before submission.

07
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Respecting Client Materials and Professional Work

Clients retain responsibility for and ownership rights in the research materials, datasets, documents, and other content they provide, subject to any rights held by third parties.

Dissertation Data Analysis retains ownership of its internal methods, workflows, templates, systems, tools, and other proprietary materials used in the delivery of professional services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Completed project deliverables may be used by the client in accordance with the agreed purpose of the service and subject to these Terms.

08
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

When a Project Changes Before Completion

Requests to cancel a project should be submitted as soon as possible. The availability and amount of any refund may depend on the status of the project, the work already completed, resources committed to the project, and the terms of the applicable service arrangement.

Our separate Refund and Returns Policy provides additional information about cancellations, refunds, and related conditions. Where applicable, that policy forms part of the terms governing the relevant transaction.

09
DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Understanding the Limits of Research and Analytical Outcomes

Research and data analysis involve professional judgment, methodological considerations, and limitations associated with the available information and data. We do not guarantee a particular statistical result, academic grade, supervisor approval, publication outcome, examination result, institutional decision, or other specific outcome.

The relevance and quality of analysis may be affected by factors including dataset quality, sample size, research design, data collection procedures, assumptions, methodological limitations, and changes to project requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dissertation Data Analysis shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or other losses arising from the use of our services or deliverables beyond the limitations that may legally apply.
